Electrolux UltimateCare 300 vs 500 – 8 Kg 5 Star Washing Machine

The Electrolux UltimateCare 500 EWF8024R5WB is your go to if you want an 8kg front load washing machine that’s super quiet at 52 dB and has more program options than the UltimateCare 300.

But that was also true of last year’s UltimateCare 300 so what’s new in the UltimateCare 500?

As always Electrolux sets itself apart with a refined EcoInverter motor design with improved vibration dampening technology, with documented dimensions of 85 x 60 x 57.5 cm, special fabric care programs, 1200 RPM spin speed, and an LED display system that somehow fits in a washing machine that’s only 2kg heavier than the UltimateCare 300.

Oh and you finally have a full technical specification sheet for the UltimateCare 500 but to be fair most of those advanced washing programs are also available on the UltimateCare 300 just with a different control interface.

Anyway I’ve spent the last 30 days using both UltimateCare models so let’s get into it and find out all of the…
